Given the track record of hedge fund managers over the last 30 years, I'd love to start a co-op that acted as a hedge fund taking weighted inverse positions on the portfolios of hedge funds. I can't wait to write a Python script that tests how well that inverse fund fund would've performed lol

I don't understand how anyone could pity Floridian property owners as sea levels rise. The state charges zero income tax, so if they simply taxed people a normal rate like everywhere else then Miami could afford to turn itself into the Venice if the East... Instead they do nothing while uninsured.

So, I started reading this book called "Dark Money" by Jane Mayer. 1/3 of the way through after covering inheritances, manipulating campaign finance, charity fraud, and the many alumni of Kochs "think tanks" after being raised by a literally German Nazi nanny; it's almost boring by its familiarity.
