1/2 New paper by our PhD student Sompot Antimanon, where he uses Pseudomonas putida as a biocatalyst for cinnamic acid production in a process that increase water use efficiency. Sompot reached a TRY of T=143 g/L, R= 2.25 g/L/h, and Y 1.50 g/g glc after 8 recycles. www.nature.com/articles/s41...

Collaboration with Paco Perez lab (Seville University), where we characterised the S. fredii solo T6SS cluster. The system is induced in the stationary phase and minimal media, and importantly, in nodules being crucial for symbiosis with legumes.
