⚡️ thanks our to ailing, failing coal power fleet, things are looking very tight in NSW tomorrow. warnings of a ~600MW shortfall (LOR2) with ~2.4GW of coal on “forced outage” (unexpected failure) and another ~1GW “derated” (generally due to heat) or “deferred return to service”. womp womp.

One thing I find interesting about the echo chamber complaint is that an echo chamber just won a presidential election. Put aside the convo of whether it’s “good” or “bad” for a moment. The far right has devoted enormous resources + time to building echo chambers & loathes spaces they don’t control

It took me twelve years (!) to build up my audience on Twitter. It took 5 days to surpass the 50% point of my Twitter following on Bluesky. I’m hopeful that the overall growth on this site will negate the need to go on Twitter altogether. Sad to see what it devolved into, but thrilled to see it die.
