@danwilsonmusic.bsky.social Have you seen 14 down in this morning's NYT Crossword?

I’m still baffled at how America took one of the basic principles of the presidency — the occupant shouldn’t be able to benefit financially from the office — and just said, nah, that just doesn’t count for this one guy.

Ironically, this is Big Pharma's wet dream. Rather than a preventative vaccine that costs a few dollars a dose twice a lifetime, they can sell expensive new in-patent drugs for hundreds a dose that you need to keep taking.

They're dismantling (what remains of) the social safety net and replacing it with a dragnet instead.

Turns out the world really does need #teenjus

Hands down, the best 2 sugary cereals to have existed. Love!

Thinking about the last time Trump did this

Remember: the attempt to cover up is always bigger than the act itself because it’s a tacit admission of guilt.

Did the NFL just send out a couple of AI bots to hype the schedule release?

Really need journalists to push back on this bullshit. When they say this, just ask them point blank: "Are you saying that because one Latino man committed a murder, another Latino man deserves a life sentence? Do you think all Latino men interchangeable?"

Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.

A top White House official says Jews "deny the existence of objective truth" but tell me more about college campus protests being antisemitic

Tonight is the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride. May his memory remind us all to resist the tyranny forming in our government.

The Trump admin ain’t paying for shit. Our tax dollars are, though.

Fathers of the year and non-fathers of the year all have the same constitutional rights

We've seen videos like this before, but usually when you see a tearful wife pleading with the kidnappers who have taken her husband, she's not talking to the U.S. president

No one should be above the law, most especially the President. Ignoring a Supreme Court ruling to facilitate Kilmar Abrego Garcia's return isn't just cruel; it's unconstitutional. They're saying the quiet part aloud — if they get away with it now, they'll do it to anyone.

He’s threatening media companies who are critical of him. He’s talking about sending Americans to foreign prisons. He’s signing executive orders to investigate former staff members who spoke out against him. He’s defying the Supreme Court. Don’t you see what’s happening here?

Tariffs are a tax on us …and Zach Nunn is all in. www.kmaland.com/news/nunn-ba...

Again, I ask @espn.com, why do you continue to pay this guy?!?

"So this is how democracy dies."
