Cutting aid to fund defence, Mr Starmer, is both cruel and self-defeating. I agree we need to defend ourselves. But creating a less stable, less humane world is no way to do it.

Worried for all those brave farmers who blocked the traffic with their tractors because the nasty government want them to pay tax. I expect they’ll be imprisoned just like those awful people who don’t like something pointless like the climate and the end of the world or whatever.
