Just checking the scores and whether that was really offside. Always a supporter, but not always a fan, of the following teams - Portland Thorns, Portland Timbers, Coventry City, Shamrock Rovers, Ireland and USA women’s national teams, Steelers. Music too.

I’ve never heard a comedian deliver that many words in one set. Eminem would have struggled doing that rapping in triple time. The passion and truth and even vulnerability were the living atmosphere in that room, (or red barn of communism as Nish called it).

Anyway, I’m a professional driver now. That’s mad. Happy Friday.

Which then led me to thoughts of the value of unrealized curiosities and the false economy of knowledge wealth. The freedom to dwell on a new idea and not have it satisfied with the immediacy of the internet. The satisfaction and acceptance of just not knowing something for a while.

I did not :( And that range of kits was put out I think in 2020. Cov city is my OG hometown. Even if I’m all in on Timbers/Thorns as a PNW blow in.

It’s from Coventry City (shout out sky BLUES!!) a place that has strong roots with the 2-tones scene back in the 70s. But inspired by the Specials for sure.

#11 at Threshold. A decadent salted caramel chocolate milk stout. One more visit to Montavilla next then back here for part time.

Great space, been many times. Beer is solid, food fell off a lot since first opening though, IMHO.

Sadly the winter spiced porter wasn’t pouring well at Steeplejack so just had a taste. Very Xmas cakey. Substituted with an Alewife dark English mild instead. Stamp acquired, soon onwards to Montavilla.

All through the house at Brujos. A very delicious WCIPA. #9 on the path to Gristmas.

I’ll let you know in about 90 mins 🍺 But it should be an English style brown porter with “spices”. Sounds nice.

This is only 6 of 12, started a week late due to travel. But at least being unemployed during the election meant I avoided the opinions of those coworkers, that I don’t have anymore. Merry Gristmas.

Of course not. What kind of evening of stout drinking aftermath would I have endured then?

I was planning to stay up for this after getting in from a late flight at 1am. Was sad/happy to see the postponement.

That match was postponed due to weather.

Flight from Portland landed in ATL at a good stopping point. Amazing read, as the beach bound ladies would say, a real page turner. Can’t wait to board the next flight and read about the “White Light”. Mar a bhí tú.
