Utft! Cymru (everything) always! Labour, but would vote for an independent Cymru and/or U.K. in the EU in a heartbeat.

Well done Labour! This is in the neighbouring council to us & in the constituency I live in. The council came under Labour control and the constituency went to Labour last year, both for the first time ever. This ward was Tory until 2024. Good to see Labour had a strong showing & easily won!

Labour to shift council funding to poorer areas This is how it should be.

Spotted in big Tesco on western avenue (Cardiff). Want to hear people’s thoughts on this, especially given that the Welsh women have qualified for the euros for the first time. https://www.europesays.com/2173855/ Spotted in big Tesco on western avenue (Cardiff). Want to hear people’s thoughts …

I don’t know how Telegraph journalists can have any self respect any more. The good ones like @pmdfoster.bsky.social jumped ship

I can’t believe this needs to be explained to grown ups. Starmer “picking up dropped sheets of paper” does NOT mean he’s declared war on Iran. Can the usual suspects have a fucking day off?

How humiliating he really had his ass handed to him… I will never forgive this bad time in history for making me like Tucker Carlson, even for a moment

Labour is getting so much done 👌👏👏👏👏👏

Such a hypocrite.

Tories allowed almost £50billion of tax to go unpaid in their final year Figures from HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) revealed the colossal amount of tax it is estimated was due, but missed!!! www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

The Welsh Government has today announced a £120m package to fund Wales’ plans to cut waiting times and NHS waiting lists this year

Until we devolve the Crown Estate, the extraction of wealth from Wales’ natural resources continues. Thanks to Labour, the profits from our rivers and sea beds will go to the Crown. Just as in Scotland, Welsh communities should profit from our own natural resources.

The absolute front of a Tory MP who spent his entire political career as a senior member of a Party that systematically crippled the country, to not only write a book & promote it, but to opine on what this Labour government could be doing better Do one Hunt #PoliticsLive

Brutal.

“Nine years on from #Brexit , 56% Brits want to see the UK return to the EU…61 per cent believe Brexit has been a failure. Of these…more than eight out of ten, blame Boris Johnson & the Conservative Party, while more than two-thirds blame Farage.” www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/poli...

Britain must stay out of this insane war. We should provide no assistance whatsoever to the US or Israel, in any form. inews.co.uk/opinion/brit...

“London and Birmingham are not far apart, nor are they separated by mountains. High‑speed railways are not an experimental technology. Europe has networks covering thousands of kilometres. It is embarrassing that the UK has managed just one opened in 2007” Total! www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Tory MP Rob Moore to Labour's Steve Reed: "It's disappointing that the Secretary doesn't visit farmers' events in the country." Steve Reed (replying): "WTF? I literally sat with you at the same event a couple of days ago, enjoying lunch together. The Tories have really lost it." #ukpolitics

Always felt that Branthwaite would extend his contract here, and plenty of stuff offline to suggest that process has started, it's now being reported by the media. Lots of talk that signing Delap would be a 'statement of intent' for TFG, I'd say extending Branthwaites contract would be much bigger.

❗️GOOD NEWS: Plans to drill for fossil fuels will now have to take into account the emissions from BURNING the oil and gas. CLEARLY the UK government knows that standing up to Big Oil is needed for our planet, our economy and our wallets. Will this ALSO mean an end to sites like Rosebank?

See how quickly leaving the ECHR can gain momentum? Stories of awful people staying in this country , popping up left right and centre from established journalists from major tv companies? I wonder if the government is actually playing it clever by reforming the ECHR? I just don’t know?

DAILY MIRROR: Farage's maths blunder leaves him exposed as Labour MPs pounce, turning PMQs into a mockery of Reform UK's financial claims. Are we witnessing the unraveling of a right-wing populist's credibility? - by Dave Burke

Mark Carney announces that kids can visit museums for free - an idea from the UK where almost all of our museums are free all year round

Man who should come with a health warning…

@adamthompsonmp.bsky.social: "I came across an awful case the other day. A 61 year old man who believed he'd counted up £7 billion of public spending when there was really only £27 million. What can we do for people like the leader of Reform UK?" 🤦‍♂️Flaky numbers, fake news, false promises.

Sting told French TV he had voted remain + would like to see the UK return to the EU. “I am a European. We are the largest economic community in the world, we need to stay together. We are threatened by Russia, maybe by America – we need to stay united.” www.thelondoneconomic.com/news/sting-t...

I wonder if Starmer's apparent success on the diplomatic circuit comes from one of his most evident domestic failings, of not having a clear vision but just wanting to achieve things as best he can. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/j...

British decline in one story. Any state which finds itself incapable of managing a project as basic as rolling out a 20th century tech between its biggest cities needs to ask itself some profound questions about what hope it has of managing the technologies of the 21st.
