Hop says, 'Mainstream media is a tool of oppression and social engineering for the ruling classes. Occasionally, it also functions as a check on abused power, but that's its off-label effect, a bonus. Read widely and critically. The billionaires are not on your side. Burn it all down.' I quit Twitter as soon as the evil billionaire bought it - I avoid supporting arseholes where I can. But I missed it. The insightful commentary, diversity of thought and opinion, the many discoveries that stimulated *my* thinking. So just wanted to acknowledge how delighted to have found bluesky 😊
