Someone said clarity is kindness so now I’m revising my draft to be unintelligible and emotionally safe

I, also, am the product of an exotic ten thousand year old culture that dislikes being airstruck for inscrutable cultural reasons

"Awaiting Editor Decision"

IE will be hosting the next edition of the MESS conference. MESS is an amazing initiative bring together empirical social scientists working in Madrid. The first edition happened last year and it was a great event in all ways. Applications are open now—consider applying!

At some point interdisciplinary stops meaning open-minded and starts meaning “I’ve burned all bridges and now live between fields”

How to be a writer, no. 1256899 1. Write 2. Think about writing 3. Worry about writing 4. Write some more 5. Be the envy of social media with your fictional playboy lifestyle 6. Tea

The slow-burn piece: conceived in rage, written in relief, published in irrelevance

Place names on the continent so funny like Liège Luik Lüttich let’s all pretend the other guy lost the war
