A vitally important corollary, which is that it takes a lot of people--imperfectly, bc people!--working together to make things better. Again, imperfectly--bc people. But this is why the endless emphasis on individuals (mostly men) in history is so bad for us. We overlook how much collectives do.

Do it. It helps others and it’s kind of a fun writing exercise.
