I Don't Want Allott for Christmas No offence Paul & Geoff. #Cricket #Christmas 📸 ESPN CricInfo

Back on the festive cricketers theme again... And one for the #Gloucestershire #Cricket supporters here... Alleyne in a Manger 📸 BBC Sport

Luckily we had these fielders in the deep to help us out #Fielding #Cricket #Bristol #Splash

Found the water quite a lot today though. Perils of playing at the harbourside arena I suppose. Nice clip off the legs at most grounds, but that's in the drink and out here. #StreetCricket #Cricket #Bristol #CricketInTheCity #Out

Great day playing cricket on the streets of Bristol again today. Thank you to everyone who got involved when passing by. Especially 'one handed catch man!' Meanwhile, is this out, or sliding down? #Cricket #StreetCricket #Bristol #Harbourside #CricketInTheCity

Highlight #2: Our second (now annual) family cricket day was bigger and better than 2023. Over 150 people enjoyed the day from either side of the boundary rope. A real focus on making it a great day for spectators and extended family worked well this year. Treasure hunt, BBQ, 🍺 bouncy 🏰 etc #Cricket

#Bristol folks.... We're gonna be meeting up at the harbourside amphitheatre on Saturday for a bit of backyard cricket in the city. Public involvement is very much encouraged. Even if it's just a one hit wonder. #Cricket #StreetCricket #BackyardCricket #Play

Umpiring decisions can be cruel, infuriating, and sometimes downright funny. Our '50 Reasons' tea towels and posters should be essential viewing for part time umpires. Commit to memory and you'll never be stuck for an answer when the bowler asks howzat!? www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Peop... #Cricket

Highlight #1: We've grown the Bristol Friendly Cricket Group to more than 60 adults. Nearly everyone involved had been out of the game until we got our 'low commitment' cricket community going in 2023. A very enjoyable rescue mission. Loved meeting hidden cricket lovers in the community #Cricket

We've enjoyed seeing people using Bluesky to share highlights from the past year. Got us in a reflective mood and we'll belatedly post some of our 2024 favourites between now and Xmas. Thanks for the inspiration @jacoblunn11.bsky.social #Cricket

Hat trick for Charlie Dean!

The tree is up and we're compiling a festive XI. So far we've got... FairyGayle of New York Silent Knight Once in Royal Dravid’s City O Little Town of Bethellhem The Healy and the Ivy In the (Heath) Streak Midwinter Starc the Herald Angels Sing Ding Dong Murali on High Who else pls? #Cricket

Another remarkable performance from England men's team. At 40-odd for four it would have been comfortable to be more circumspect. Who knows, that might have worked too. But they really put the pressure back on NZ and that was a crucial phase. Bowlers have been excellent too! #Cricket

Two excellent cricket starter packs by @bethcooper.fyi and another dedicated to women's cricket by @maddyoby.bsky.social 🙏

A good reply from Starc to Jaiswal overnight then?! #BGT #AUSvIND.

The Basin Reserve doesn't make the top 10 roundabouts in the world. A travesty! #Cricket www.dangerousroads.org/around-the-w...

There are thousands of adults who love cricket but don't play. We're on a mission to change that by doing cricket in ways that fit into busy lives & everyday spaces.  Primary Parent Cricket  Street Cricket in the City  Friendly Sunday Cricket  Open net sessions  A Bristol Friendly Cricket Group

What's your predictions for this second NZ v England Test then mystic @wgrumblepants.bsky.social?

We're taking to the streets of Bristol again. Saturday 14th December at the Harbourside Arena (Lloyds Amphitheatre). Come have a swish if you're nearby, it might make you as happy as Will here. Cricket in the city beats Xmas shopping 😀 #Cricket #StreetCricket #BackyardCricket #GullyCricket #Bristol

Bristol Friendly Cricket Nets on Sunday 2-4pm. We're a community not a club so the invite is open to anyone who likes cricket but isn't playing elsewhere. Like a cats and dogs home for lapsed cricketers. Get in touch if vaguely interested. #Cricket #Bristol #Friendly

Every home needs tea towels so we've designed one to make you laugh whilst drying dishes Support new community cricket projects by buying from us this Xmas Items are perfect for cricketers with a sense of humour. Pls share with your #Cricket contacts🙏 www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Peop...
