Brooke Nichols, an associate professor of global health at Boston University, has estimated that these cuts have already resulted in about 300,000 deaths, most of them of children, and will most likely lead to significantly more by the end of the year. That is what Musk’s foray into politics…

A drug addict usurped congressional power, and unilaterally gutted US soft power. Members of the administration knew about, and were disturbed by, his drug use (WSJ). Isn’t this a cover-up?

Q: A NOTUS investigation found the MAHA commission report cites studies that appear to not exist. Does the WH have confidence in the info coming from HHS? LEAVITT: Yes. I understand there were some formatting issues but it does not negate the substance Q: Did they use AI? L: I can't speak to that

If they are actually going to enforce deportations in FL at job sites then the construction industry in FL will grind to a halt. Until they can replace those employees with US-born workers willing to work outside in the summer in 100 degree heat & humidity. Should be no problem.

Ursula von der Leyen, "The diary of Anne Frank." "A painful reminder to Europe to be vigilant and unyielding towards all those who see hatred and want to divide our society" "Europe knows this path all too well. And never, never again must we embark on this path"

Ingenious 😂 FFS

LOL Here's Nathan Fielder on CNN this morning, completely committing to the bit, which includes him telling Pamela Brown that Wolf Blitzer is more important because his name is first on the show's title. "But you don‘t want to say to Wolf you can‘t... you don‘t want to say, 'oh, I don‘t want to.'"

"Let cash registers ring!"

BREAKING: Texas passed a bill requiring public schools to display the Ten Commandments in every classroom. We will be suing.

Dan Bongino has a nice cry on Fox & Friends: "I gave up everything for this. I mean, my wife is struggling... I stare at these 4 walls all day in DC, you know, by myself, divorced from my wife. Not divorced, but I mean, separated. And it's hard." (Note that Brian Kilmeade has to encourage him lol)

They’re not banning books because they’re dangerous—They’re banning them because they expose the truth. 📚 Erased tells the history they tried to bury—& now they’re coming for it. If it’s “too dangerous to teach,” you need to read it. ⚠️Read it before they ban it for good: stan.store/gxldsociety/...

I have been sick for a week and I just read about "something going around" in a subreddit, which I guess is how I get my information now that the CDC is officially spending the next four years determining when and how microscopes became gay.

So were the locusts.

I'm Dr. Annie Andrews. I’m a pediatrician, not a politician. But either way I know how to handle people who are full of sh*t. Today I am announcing my campaign for US Senate to replace Lindsey Graham. Share this if you're with me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8wM...

Why is the US Govt continuing to interfere in the domestic politics and elections of our allies, and why is the Homeland Security Secretary on a lengthy world tour?

Cheers

lmao even Maria Bartiromo is tired of Rick Scott's bullshit

THANK YOU!!!

Trump is on TV spouting lies...again. His big beautiful bill steals from the middle class & poor to give to the billionaires. He thinks that we're stupid.

ok I feel completely insane asking this but like weren't we NOT blowing up rockets, like, 50 years ago. weren't we successfully sending rockets up that did not rattle apart. also weren't we like "ah yeah that was a fail" when the rocket fell apart instead of calling it a "partial success"

Juneteenth should be a monthlong celebration

The biggest endorsement I can make for Bluesky is that replacing Twitter with this app on my phone probably improved my general mood when I’m on my phone by 20-25%. I know there are better reasons but it is what it is!

Spot on, Neil!

This is the best thing I’ve seen today and I need a source. Bluesky, please help. Credit to whoever this rad group is.

Tim Walz declared a national emergency five years ago today as Minnesota became the epicenter of the anger and frustration felt upon death of George Floyd at the hands of police three days earlier. That’s all I wanted to say, and will leave it to you to remember how it made you feel.

Phang: We don’t need the Ten Commandments hanging in Texas schools. What we need is common-sense gun legislation—so the kids can live. If my kid goes to a public school in Texas and they can’t come home alive, I don’t give a shit about the Ten Commandments being posted on the wall.
