I walked with these people in the jungle, I’ve held their children and played with them, wrapped them in my clothes when they’re cold. I’ve literally given Venezuelan folks the coat off my back, and they did the same for me when I moved there. This fucking sucks.

Once my kid was in kindergarten, the teacher sent me a text about my kid's insistence on controlling crayon distribution. The teacher used voice-to-text and sent me a long string of messages without reading them, then read them and realized the app had misinterpreted my kid's name as "A penis".
