This is absolutely terrible news. With the shifting regulatory climate (i.e., antivax ratfuckery), Moderna has withdrawn their application for their eagerly anticipated COVID-flu combo vaccine. This vaccine offered better protection than getting each shot separately. h/t @merz.bsky.social

I grew up in a rural area on well water (without fluoride) and my teeth are absolute CRAP. I've had so much work, starting with root canals in my 20s. It's so many thousands of dollars plus ongoing pain. Only someone with brain worms would want that for their kids and grandkids.

The things for Dems to ask for before any votes for appropriations: 1) compliance with past federal laws before any new appropriations law 2) Elon Musk out of government 3) only a 1-2 month funding bill to ensure Trump has to come back to Congress regularly and thus Congress can ensure compliance.
