Rep. Suozzi: 26% of the federal workforce are veterans—26%. What about their service to this country? We encouraged them to apply for these jobs, and now we’re just taking away their livelihoods? It’s not just chaotic, it’s not just cruel—it’s unconstitutional.

I’m just going to leave this here…

If the GOP insists on rolling the clock back to the past, then why can’t they at least roll it back to a past where I could buy a monkey out of an ad in a comic book for $18.95???

The secret republican kryptonite is to stop referring to THEM by their own preferred cis pronouns. “How can I help you, ma’am?” “You claim you’re a man? Really? I’m sorry, but I don’t respect preferred pronouns, lady.”

If you don’t want to be called a bigot, then maybe you should start adopting policies that support women, people of color, LGBTQIA+, indigenous, and other disadvantaged people instead of punching down at every opportunity. No one would call you a bigot after that.

So many conservatives have told me that they want the 1950s back because that’s when the world made sense to them, but they want the 1950s they’ve seen in movies and TV. The real version was more like…

The “deep state” was never lobbies and career politicians. It was always those who gave the people access to government and who made government accountability to the people. Eight years ago, they had no idea how to dismantle it. This time, it’s their first target.

If you have a GOP congressperson/senator, call and tell them you voted for them (they can’t check.) Say nobody voted for this Elon Musk guy to run the country. If they won’t stop him, you and the base will vote for someone else next time. Call every day. Messages like that will matter to them.

The USPS was chartered in the Constitution as a public good, not a money making entity. The sheer, greedy, destructive stupidity of these people is beyond measure.

Somehow, US news finds a plane crash in Toronto far more newsworthy than the SEVEN that have occurred in the US since trump took office and started hacking away at the FAA. Strange………

Republicans held 2009-2001 Congress hostage when Democrats had an 18 seat advantage in the Senate and a 78 seat advantage in Congress. Now Dems refuse to attack razor thin GOP margins. Their leadership has no idea how to do anything but show fealty to Republican extremism.

If you want Russia out of Ukraine return to the 2016 sanctions that shrunk the Russian economy to less than Spain’s. But I’m sure giving Russia whatever it wants while alienating our allies, and keeping Ukraine out of both NATO and peace talks will work out fine…

This lapse in security is shocking from the same cabal who shuttered the US election cybersecurity division….

How do the rich avoid personal taxes? It’s simple: Let’s say Bill Gates earns $100/year in salary. He has this paid directly into a trust (so it’s not taxed until he removes it.) At the start of Year 1, he borrows $100 against the trust at 1% interest. Now he has $100, tax-free to spend. 1/

If I find myself on the White House grounds in the near future (not likely), I will be using the term “Hamburglar” instead of “felon”.

Oh look! The same people who say they won’t “use pronouns” start crying when you won’t label maps the way they want you to…….

By dropping the prosecution of Eric Adams, but not pardoning him, trump has made the mayor a wing of the White House. The prosecutions CAN come back. This is extortion and would be treated as a violation of separation of powers and the principals of federalism if done by any other administration.

Oh good. Can’t wait to die of guinea worm. In the United States. In the 21st century. And I’m the entitled one for expecting something more from my country………..

I want social programs and safety nets strong enough that people CAN take advantage of them. I don’t want them dismantled because a bare handful of people might…

The left in 2020: Defund the police! The right in 2020: That’s extreme. That’s crazy. The right in 2025: Defund education! The left: 😳

Elon Musk, eying the federal treasury: Hold my beer…

Can we call this corruption yet?

He’s going to be shocked when he learns out just how little “executive time” this new job as President of the Kennedy Center offers……….

They wouldn’t be committing crime this openly— and let’s face it, show their incompetence at everything but creating chaos — if they ever expected to leave power.

This is the kind of “power” normally reserved for toddlers. Literally any other POTUS would actually have more to do than, “sure, call the refrigerator whatever you want”

It’s almost like the “don’t tread on me” people just wanted a lot of extra treading on them and everyone else.

How many times has this happened in just 3 weeks?

Apparently, we’re supposed to believe the largest, most profitable companies in the history of the world can no longer compete unless they can bribe foreign officials…………. 🙄

Why does the world's richest man want to gut the CFPB? Because it would shield him from having to follow financial laws to keep customers' money safe — and give him access to confidential records about his competitors. Follow the money.

“Why are people so hesitant to protest this time?” Maybe it’s because Republican governors have made it clear they’ll pardon anyone who murders protestors?

I pointed out something similar a few weeks ago, but beyond just mocking the media for their stupid complicity here, these articles should be a direct refutation of the admin's claims that "The American People Voted For This." Because they literally promised they weren't going to do this.

You’re honestly surprised by the inaction of a country that finds nudity and gore in movies more distasteful than actual genocide?

I’m guessing this means we’re not getting Juneteenth off for the next four years. You’ve gotta be racist as hell not to take a day off work.

“Why are they targeting USAID?” Well….

Monday, Feb. 3rd, 2025: Understand this: these people are no longer "in power." They've been sidelined, buried, kaput. The coup d'état has happened; the reins of our gov't have been seized. Have as good Monday as you can, my friends. We no longer live where we grew up & where thought we lived.

I realized I’m just an anonymous poster, but I’ve verified this with a reliable source.

It’s almost like 45 years or putting ineffectual people in government leadership roles and then claiming government is ineffectual has made government ineffectual.

Musk had zero security clearances to access the confidential data at USAID. With no authority, he has collected the most sensitive data of every American for no clear purpose. GOP will not hold him to account, and Dems seems allergic to consequences for the powerful. This is supervillain shit.
