A good night last night with 4 NFY, Early Thorn, Twin spot Quaker, Diurnia fagella (Spring Harbinger, like this as the common name 😊) and a gorgeous fresh Brindled Beauty. Plenty of Quakers common and small . A very pleasant morning 😊

A much better garden night with 2 Oak Beauties, 2 Early Grey and a Small Quaker with 6 CQs and a couple of Hebrews, Roll on tonight 😊

A good morning in the trap with Yellow Horned Clouded Drab and this dark Dotted Border (I think). Plenty common Quaker, Dotted Borders, Hebrew Character a March Moth and an Early moth 😊 #teammoth

And in other mothy news Shoulder striped, 1st record since 2006, Satellite Common Quaker, Hebrew Character. 18 moths of 7sp at baggeridge and even moths in the home trap 😃

This is coming up as Acleris umbrana, can anyone help on this one please. Would be quite a record if it is ? @lesevanshill.bsky.social is photo good enough, I'll go and see if it's still there and pot it. #teammoth

8 March Moths last night to the actinic 0 to the MV but tonight, well! All lit up ready for flocks and it's a FUN night too. Trying the fun lure for the first time so expecting giants 😊😊😊😊

Not a bad night, the MV only pulled in 3 moths but had the 20w actinic had 4 Pale Brindled Beauties, 5 March moths, 3 Chestnut 3. Dotted Borders and an Agonopterix 😃

Small Brindled Beauty!!! to the mv at Baggeridge. Looks like very few recent records for Staffs on west mids moths. Certainly a new record for the park and for me. #teammoth

Last night turned cloudy and mild resulting in a swarm of one Pale Brindled Beauty. Tonight however will be different,there'll be loads of moths, really loads and loads,of course there will..... I might even put the home trap on. Or am I just trying to convInce myself 😀
