In ten years, there'll be current Israel supporters claiming they didn't know the atrocities Netanyahu was committing against the Palestinians. There'll be "land acknowledgements" before people have events on the new condos built over genocide.

If you say, "The U.S. has always been bad. You're just realizing this now?" what are you trying to accomplish? Just sounding smug and superior? You liked the cool band before it was cool? Authoritarianism isn't a binary yes-no. It can be present and GET WORSE. Fascism in the U.S. is getting worse!
