Happy International Women's Day!

I love "The Rules of Magic" by Alice Hoffman! According to the Owens family, the rules of magic are: 1. Do as you will, but harm no one. 2. What you give will be returned to you threefold. 3. Fall in love whenever you can. #books #witchybooks

I have been reading "Goth" by Otsuichi, and it has been deeply disturbing and dark. It is definitely a page turner! If you love extreme horror, you will love this book! #books #HorrorBooks

"Shy Girl" by Mia Ballard is dark, disturbing, grotesque, and surreal! If you love extreme horror, I highly recommend this book! "Shy Girl" will be available 03/01/2025!

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.

I just started listening to the audiobook version of "The Vegetarian" by Han Kang. According to GoodReads, the book becomes more grotesque, the further you get into it. This book won a Nobel Prize in Literature in 2024! I am looking forward to continuing the audiobook!

"Houses of the Unholy" by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips is a comic book about a woman named Natalie who is forced to help the FBI take on a Satanic Cult. The comic is dark, mysterious, and unsettling. The artwork is amazing and adds to the story. I highly recommend this comic!
