I'm frustrated that those of us who do not support AI "art" have to be so diligent about sniffing it out. I asked for and received a Doctor Who Magic the Gathering playmat for xmas, and didn't realize until I physically saw it that the image on it was AI generated. Ruined an otherwise nice gift.

My daughter (now 8yo) and I have started a tradition of collaborating on the art for our Christmas cards - I do the line art and she colors. The first pic is what we sent out to everyone, the second was me coloring my own version just because. Can't wait to see how she improves by next year!

Rewatched Doctor Who's "Boom" the other night. Despite all the crap I've given Steven Moffatt over the years about his showrunning, his standalone episodes are superb, and "Boom" is a master class in tension.

Finally finished the Chibnall era of Doctor Who. The first two seasons were hit or miss for me, but I didn't hate the misses, I just found them… lacking. The Timeless Child thing didn't bother me nearly as much as the hype had me believing it would; in fact, I kind of liked it. 1/4
