As the wonderful Trevor Hailey of Cruisin' the Castro explained it, the pink was specifically "hot pink, for hot sex". ...I still have the (grosgrain!) rainbow ribbon pin Trevor gave all her guidees so people knew who we belonged to if we got lost during the tour. My first Pride flag.

Finding myself agreeing with MPs voting for and against the assisted dying bill. Agreeing with body autonomy but also that with the current government’s hatred of disabled and ill people and the lack of funding for true palliative care it feels like safeguards just aren’t secure enough.

Akua Reinsdorf claims that trans people have been lied to about the extent of our rights. Her interpretation of law was dismissed in 2020 by Mr Justice Henshaw when Anne Sinnott tried to sue the EHRC over its support of those rights. Reinsdorf was later appointed as an EHRC Commissioner.
