Responding the thread as a whole: I feel like if you’re going to take expansions out of the GOTY conversation, you should also exclude sequels 🤷 Expansions, spin-offs, sequels, etc all belong in the same conversation as new IP. Is the game good? Worth talking about? That’s what should matter IMO
