The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

Love it!

i am being crushed emotionally this week by the 1-2 punch of being an American AND a Spurs fan.

@drtottenham.bsky.social until we invest in wingers that can take on their defender we will continue to struggle offensively. Odobert and Moore are the only players we have that fit that profile. Johnson and Son are strikers trying to play winger and it’s failing miserably.

@drtottenham.bsky.social do we win that game if we spend $50m on a winger not named Brennan Johnson?

Extremely not mad about this team and that match. COYS. The Tottenham players are clearly still fully behind the manager and the tactics, and so should we all.

For the sake of balance, what Liverpool showed us yesterday (squad depth) is where this club should be or at least aspiring to be. This is the task that requires a 100% completion score by the board. Back the manager. Be competitive. Be ruthless. Stop cosplaying ‘big club’ and be a big club.

@barditei.bsky.social you dubbed PEH “The Cement Mixer”. Is Madders “The Vulture”? Only eats when the opponent is dead

This still stands. Just another crap performance from him @vkon1.bsky.social @drtottenham.bsky.social

Ange's post-Fulham presser offered a brilliant rebuke of media who treat Spurs' successes as prospective failures, the 'millstone' around our necks. Here I explain and repudiate that narrative. As always, please subscribe if you value this work! open.substack.com/pub/profspur...
