What is common knowledge in your field, but shocks outsiders? To steal from one of the greats... Nobody knows anything. Not one person in the entire video game field knows for a certainty what's going to work. Every time out it's a guess and, if you're lucky, an educated one.

Just watched the Monster Hunter movie on telly. Far better than anyone was expecting and lots of little nods to the game’s systems. That said I still yearn for that brief moment where I thought the Monster Hunter movie was being done by Paul Thomas Anderson. THAT’S the movie I want to see.
