I just want every trans kid to know know that I didn't get puberty blockers and neither did the vast majority of my trans friends and we're still here. A lot of us are doing great, some of us have very hard lives, most of us are somewhere in between, like any other population.

i've always chafed at the "kids WILL die w/o HRT" because what matters is social transition. if you get HRT at age 18 instead of 14 it just means… you're a little bit uglier than you might have been, but being ugly isn't the end of the world. the important thing is living.
