According to Ally Gold, Romero/VDV/Solanke expected to be properly ready by Bournemouth/2nd leg of AZ, with Solanke a bit behind the other two. Will be important to handle the first leg away from home well, and Tel will be crucial (will be interesting to see if he does better against non-PL opps)

Getting tired of the narrative I've seen by some regarding Romero. It seems likely that he will start at least 2 games for Spurs before the international break, and the Argentina games should only help him in maintaining match fitness. Think we will appreciate him more once he starts playing again

Some rumours of new contract talks for Benta, via Sami Mokbel. Considering that he's been preferred to Biss in the past few games, likely that we're selling Biss in the summer and replacing w/ a DM, leaving us with Madders/Deki/Bergvall/Sarr/Benta as 8s, and new 6/Gray/Benta for DM options

Wonder if it's feasible to rest one of Son/Deki versus Ipswich so they can be raring to go for City, seen some calls to rest Porro versus Ipswich but would prefer him starting along w/ Spence on the weekend, and then resting him for the midweek game against City

Pretty happy with how the window has gone, I question the feasibility of adding another CB given we can only register 3 new players in Europe (ideally Spence, Danso, and Tel) and think we can get by with Danso/VDV/Davies/Gray (and Romero when he gets back) for the remaining half at least.

It's pretty disheartening to miss out for Tel after not making any move for most of the window for an outfield player, but would advise not to lose all hope until the window is closed, a reminder that we signed Deki off the back of Diaz's rejection and hope we can repeat something like that

If we make another signing on Deadline Day, what's the plan wrt squad registration for Europe? I'm assuming we'll drop Forster, Dragusin and Werner for Kinsky, Spence, and Danso with the current situation, but another signing would complicate matters (barring club HG, but no feasible options rn)
