A4 #LTHEchat lots of briefing during induction week on what uni's like: I'm keen to include academic content in induction rather than making it all about where to find the café so that students get the feel of being at uni v early on. Emphasis on the big picture of what they're studying 1/2

A3. As someone who dropped out of an MA because they had no idea how to get past not being able to understand a tutor's explanation, and presumed themselves not fit for an MA accordingly, I know it can ruin everything. #LTHEchat

#LTHEchat A2 Anyone ever used the 'visitor from Mars exercise) (other locations can be chosen!) Students have to formulate questions which a visitor might ask to understand the chosen teaching situation/contet. Can generate some very interesting discussion!
