Sonic 2, to my mind, remains a near-perfect game. Brilliant platformer in single player. Amazing split screen multiplayer. BUT ALSO... Allowing Tails to be controlled in single-player WITHOUT it delaying Sonic created 'younger sibling mode'. My kid brother could play with me, but not ruin my game
