Still waiting for Nintendo to amswer the big question - have they updated the flavour of the Switch 2 cartridges?

Got my Switch 2 preorder secured (live in AU now) - now I'm going the heck to sleep. Processing all of this news tomorrow

Very eager for all the "Samus as a Psychic Pokemon trainer" in the coming weeks after that reveal

A Direct at midnight is always a tricky thing. A Direct at midnight on a WORK night? Running on an IV drip of tea and hype tomorrow

Top 25 games, only the top 5 are in order. I could talk all day about any of these games. Special mention to Roller Coaster Tycoon for not being selectable on this site

1 episode into Senpai wa Otokonoko, and I can already tell this animes going to wreck me 😭

Books read in 2025: Making Money - Terry Pratchett If I read Discworld slowly enough I can still pretend there's more coming. GNU Terry Pratchett.... Book was great; it's a fan favourite for a reason. Witty, funny, great characters - didn't make any money reading it though; missed opportunity

Random assortment of pictures from our latest Japan trip. God it's a gorgeous country

Backlog finished in 2025: Assassins Creed Origins Haven't played an AC since Black Flag in 2019. Love Egypt as a setting, Bayak is a compellingcharacter - story has some pacing issues at the end but still enjoyable. Resisting 100%ing it because good lord it's a big map

Everytime I open a book, I think "man, reading is awesome, why aren't I doing this more?" It's hard to find time but so worth it. Making my book backlog a focus this year

Books read in 2025 - Metro 2033 Been on the to-read read list for ages, the world is dark and depressing, it's view of humanity is bleak. Can be a slog to get through, but portrays the mental struggles and hallucinations felt by the main character in a gripping way.

It’s not illegal to like this, share it and even copy the picture and make your own post. These are four of the six people that have been gutting the treasury department. They are between 19 and 24 years old.

Update - we beat the Stardew Boardgame. Peaked for the year I think.

Putting this out into the world - as much as I want a Feb Switch direct, I don't see it. Any new reveals would be held for April; Pokemon AZ would be shown on Pokemon Day; Xenoblade port isn't big enough to need a direct. Prime 4 is huge but feels like they would hold that for an April reveal too -

Current fixation - trying to win the Stardew Valley boardgame. It's gorgeous and fun, but hard and takes ages to finish with standard rules

When our cat Athena was alive, she would jump on the table and help herself to my water. Gross I know, but it was cute and I missed it dearly when she passed. Fast forward to now and Hades has started a peculiar behaviour:

I think I enjoy Princess Mononoke the more I watch it. It sometimes feels forgotten compared to other Ghibli films but it's a damn impressive film
