Found a 5/16" spanner while walking. I'm Australian so mm. multiplication and division can be done in any order so 5/16 x 1 inch is 5/16 x 25.4 mm. (roughly 24) So 24/16 x 5 is the same sum but easier. and / = divide so 24 / 16 x 5 is 1.5 x 5 which is 7.5mm 8% of 25 = 8/100 of 25 = 25/100 of 8 = 2

PSA: Consider Other People.. I am disliking the people at this campsite who think they are the only ones here though surrounded by other campers attempting sleep. Pumping their inflatable beds at 10:30 pm even though they had all day. The whine of many electric pumps. (May fleas infest their beds)

Necessary is difficult to spell but my friend asked if I could spell 'recess'. Which I can. He said 'Necessary' has the same c and s combo. Super useful. Knowing how to spell is good for your brain. Don't rely entirely on the wiggles that are everywhere under the misspelled words.

There, Their, They're. There = location. Their = ownership. They're = contraction. Over there are dogs. The kids took their bones. They're going to run away and the dogs will chase them. So 'here', 'there' go together. Here is in there. They're's apostrophe is for the 'a'. They own their dog.

Affect vs Effect. Affect is a verb, a doing word, so 'Tom affects the audience'. Effect is a noun. It is the result of the affect. The Sun affected the plastic. The effect was that it became brittle. There are exceptions to look up. Effect can be a verb like 'he effected change in the company'

It's and its. The apostrophe is like the missing dot for the 'i'. 'It is' becomes 'it's'. It is time to go. It's time to go. 'Its' is ownership. The dog, that is its bone. It's time to take its bone away so we can leave. Confusing for sure when: Tom's bone, but Tom is a dog, so it's its bone.

This has been doing the rounds, and it isn't false. And critical thinking isn't emphasised at school. In fact we are taught to respect authority and thus we respect media since we see them as also an authority. But Musk's purchase of Twitter and his interest in MSNBC shows us it is misplaced trust.

'looks' vs 'looks like'. One is how it is, the other is a comparison. This is how the building will look. This is what the building will look like. 'Then' vs 'Than'. The first is related to time, the second is a comparison. The dog went outside then it bit the cat. Better bitten than dead.

This is so true. And right now very evident.

Yup. That's what he said. Clearly. The religiosity is strong with the Republicans. They know white Jesus said this. White blue eyed Jesus brought them an orange conman to entrust their country to. White blue eyed Jesus is the reason a lot of money is being spent right now. Sigh...

The Eugenics thing, the idea that one's genetic heritage can be categorised and that one can have such a thing as genetic purity, gives rise to folks who think that brown skin is less pure than pink skin. This is more pseudo science rubbish that the smooth brains, like this guy, believe.

What the hell are we even doing? Normalizing & green-lighting another psychotic madman. That’s what we’re doing. It’s f’ing insane.

And if the average USA person is totally ok that the Gov uses some of their money to build roads everywhere, given that person may want to use that road someday, why do they hate the idea of the Gov using some money to provide healthcare they may need some day?

Also, how does one get to see the parent of a comment. I get notifications that someone has replied to something I've said, but I can't find how to read what I've said so that their comment has some context. What am I missing?

So I like to read other folks comments on a post. When a person writes and adds a picture, one can do this by clicking the words. If a picture is posted without words, I have not found the way to see the comments on that image. Does anyone know how to see a solo image's comments?

"Repeat after me: there was no 'landslide'. There was no 'blowout'. There was no 'sweeping' mandate given to Trump by the electorate. The numbers don’t lie." My new Guardian op-ed on the new GOP election lie - and why it's important to rebut it! I brought (lots of) receipts:
