Dear senators who think you can’t do anything, Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT. ~ All of Us

Forcing people to pay $130 for a passport in order to vote is just a Jim Crow poll tax by another name. It is blatantly unconstitutional.

Hey, @schumer.senate.gov :: you better not be playing cute with your language about stopping the SAVE Act. I hope you intend to VOTE NO ON CLOTURE, as opposed to what you did with the CR when you told us you'd vote no on the bill, but still voted YES on cloture. We are in no mood for games.

ā€œThey were careless people…they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness…and let other people clean up the mess they had madeā€¦ā€ -- F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby (April 10, 1925).

Tariffs? Out of control. Prices? Skyrocketing. Emergency powers? He’s abusing them. And yet… not a single question about whether he’s even fit to serve. The math ain’t mathing.

Rep. Steven Horsford to Greer: "So the trade representative hasn't spoken to the POTUS about a global reordering of trade, but yet he announced it on a tweet? WTF! Who is in charge? It looks like your boss just pulled the rug out from under you. There is no strategy ... is this market manipulation?"

You set the house on fire, watched it burn, and then lost your nerve and put it out. You now have a partially burned house. Great job.

Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA): "I'm writing to the White House to demand who knew in advance that the President was going to, once again, flip flop on tariffs. And are people cashing in? There is just all too much opportunity for people in the White House and the administration to be insider trading"

Japanese and Chinese markets are down 8% and 10% respectively. Black Friday in 1929 was -11%. Tomorrow could easily be the worst crash in American history. The worst thing? It’s 100% intentional.

As the economic news keeps coming out over the coming weeks keep one thing in mind: this is the fault of one man and didn’t need to happen.

It’s a recalibration of economic control. Oligarchs don’t live paycheck to paycheck. They have the capital to buy market dips and recoup faster, acquiring more assets at fire sale prices along the way. When the dust finally settles, they will own more. The rest of us will own less. A lot less.

Just a legal historian here reminding everyone that ā€œhigh crimes and misdemeanorsā€ do not need to be felonies. They can include political abuses and stupidity, like, hypothetically, destroying the economy and wiping out people’s savings in 3 days.

Trade deficit. I have bought food from say, Chilis. They have never bought food from me. There is a trade deficit with Chilis. I’m still doing fine. The trade deficit argument SOUNDS compelling, but it’s a straw man with no relevancy

as the backlash begins to show itself, never let the bootlicking windsocks like zuckerberg and bezos ever forget what theyve done and said

Worst two-day stock market crashes in the U.S. by percentage loss: 1. 1929 (the Great Depression) 2. 1987 (Black Monday) 3. 2008 (the Great Recession) 4. YESTERDAY AND TODAY And while this happened, the man responsible for it was golfing and dining with enemies of America.

Tell me again why we’re letting a 78 year old, legit smelly, odorous, frail, loser old man who bankrupted a CASINO bankrupt the country? Congress? Any answers?

There are 32m small businesses in the USA

Please share!!! This is getting ridiculous—they just can’t accept a loss. Please help spread the word to North Carolina. The North Carolina Court of Appeals ruled in a 2-1 decision that over 60,000 votes cast in last year’s closely contested state Supreme Court race must be verified and recounted.

It’s weird* that the president can just decide to put a huge tax on American businesses without congress even being a little bit involved. * very unconstitutional

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

My God. ICE wrongfully arrested a man while his 5-year-old autistic child sat in the backseat—and shipped him off to an El Salvador prison. No due process. Now the Trump administration claims they can’t get him back. How many more? THIS NEEDS TO BE A BIGGER STORY.

Changing the wording of his previous post to claim he is paying the million for the person to be a ā€œspokesmanā€ for one day does not insulate what he is doing from criminal liability. Dems say they want to DO SOMETHING rather than talk, then AG Josh Kaul let’s see you do something.

I have been hearing from people that they have been having issues accessing their Social Security accounts. INSTEAD of going to a branch which may be hundreds or 1Ks+ of miles away from you, call your members of Congress. They have constituent services that will help you regain access. Please share!

Regardless of context or circumstances, ā€œWe can’t just ignore the president’s desiresā€ has got to be one of the strangest phrases ever uttered by a standing vice president

Early voting is taking place for the special elections in Florida for seats in the U.S. House in the 1st and 6th Congressional Districts. Election Day is on Tuesday, April 1st. Get out and vote for Democratic candidates Gay Valimont and Josh Weil!

Yep

Courts willing to follow the Constitution and the law are the only things standing between us and Stephen Miller’s dystopia right now. And he isn’t happy about it.
