RIYADH DESIGN LAW TREATY — Adopted! PIJIP members Christine Farley, Sean Flynn, and Andres Izquierdo attended the negotiation and adoption of the Riyadh Design Law Treaty. It was assisted by Profs Thomas Margoni and Margo Bagley to provide technical assistance to a group of like-minded countries.

Will the @wipo #DLT prohibit requiring design patent applicants to disclose uses of govt funding and AI? Will it require that all countries grant protection to partial designs? Will there be a new international 15 year term, with a one year grace period? We see Friday. @jamielove.bsky.social
