I design my photos using recent research into the shift in brain activity from fight/flight to rest &relaxation triggered by looking at plants/at something we find beautiful.

So, let's try doing #duvetknowitschristmas here this evening? People are literally Driving Home For Christmas right now, which MIGHT JUST mean that they'll be sleeping somewhere unusual. 1/

I had forgotten I was expecting a mystery book from @biggreenbooks.bsky.social - thrilled to receive it yesterday. I'll save opening it until Christmas - looking forward to reading it and comparing notes with @spittingyarn.bsky.social

Well, someone has to go first ~ here’s Bertie Gregory’s wonderful photograph of a young emperor penguin jumping off a 50-foot ice cliff for its first swim, at Atka Bay, Antarctica (National Geographic Pictures of the Year 2024) www.nationalgeographic.com/photography/...

A good, private library is a research tool, not an ego boosting appendage. "The library should contain as much of what you don’t know as your financial means allows. The more you know, the larger the rows of unread books." Umberto Eco in his library, Modena, Italy, April 1977, by Leonardo Cendamo

It would be so great if you could RT my Etsy shop in the twoots below/above. My🌲 jewellery orders usually make up a significant part of my income at this time of yr but the X exodus has meant I’ve only received 1 order-pretty scary income-wise. A small boost would help so much. Thankyou🌿

I plan to post at least one of my photos a day here on Bluesky. I design each of my photos using recent research into the benefits to mental health of looking at plants & patterns in nature. Making my collections relaxes my noisy autistic+ADHD brain & they'll relax yours by looking at them here:
