Ah, the 1930s Germany frame. But in the post-reconstruction era, America had Jim Crow, the resegregation of the federal workforce, and deadly pogroms against black people in the South. We’ve been here before. It’s just it didn’t happen to white people. Where do yall think Germany learned from?

When the Patriot Act was passed, libraries got requests for patrons’ borrowing history. We were prohibited from disclosing those requests. We deleted and shredded those records and stopped tracking reading history for that reason. ALSO.

This a.m. I tried to explain to my son that he needs to listen to his mom & stop arguing about everything. I said you don't ask why a stop sign exists every time you see one. Just sharing this again for folks who may not have seen it yet. The US Air Force has removed the Tuskegee Airmen and Women Airforce Service Pilots from their training after Pres. Trump's anti-DEI order. These men and women are an important part of WWII history and must be remembered.
