Upside I guess is that when my doctor puts through a referral for a specialist, they’re in touch the same day and getting me in within 48 hours. But also knowing that a specialist that usually has a months long wait list is clearing schedules to see me within 48 hours… not sure I like that.

This is truth. SO many of you have no idea the sputtering, wild-eyed meltdown you would trigger. Criticism means nothing coming from marginalized person; they've already decided we don't matter. But YOU? You're supposed to be on THEIR side. And I can almost guaranteed they just assume you are.
