This is not good on all sides. Davies, Canada Soccer and Jesse Marsch. There is always a chance a player will get injured during international duty but the accusation Davies’ agent is making, shows malpractice. Don’t understand why the agent made this public, another mess in Canada Soccer. #CanMNT

To be frank, after the Mexico loss, I didn’t care for the 3rd place game. However, anytime you can play well and beat the #USMNT on their soil; you have to give props to the team for responding. The #CanMNT can take a lot of learning lessons for preparing for 2026; which includes Marsch.

Hostile environment & a card happy referee, the second half will show what this team is made of. Canada has to find a way to free up David more into space. They have weapons on the bench to use at their disposal. The defensive fouls need to be reduced otherwise #CanMNT won’t finish with 11 men.

In the future, CONCACAF should refrain from the 2 for 1 games for Nations League. It always feels that the first game has a horrible atmosphere, because most fans start coming in near the end of the first game. The #USMNT and Panama deserve a better crowd than what they are getting.

Very solid first half by the #CanMNT. In huge spells, they were simply dominant. Jonathan David continues his excellent form finding the net and Shaffelburg follows suit. Canada needs not to let up in the second half. Continue the aggression and punish Suriname on their mistakes.
