I had thought the other day & instead of subsidising fossil fuel industry who are just taking the piss; why doesn’t the Aus govt subsidise Aussie farmers? They work really hard in trying circumstances to produce, for one, food for the country. Much prefer my tax $$ dollars be used for farmers.
