BREAKING: MASSIVE Ukraine rally in Washington, D.C. right now. Americans care even if Trump doesn’t.

“That is why Trumpists are so focused on “ending DEI” in the federal workforce. They see anti-discrimination and inclusion as a ladder of upward mobility for people they do not believe should have one.”

Elon’s mass harassment email to all federal employees underscores the importance of having unions to represent workers against abusive management.

New polling from Leger says that 3-in-4 Canadians have a negative opinion of Donald Trump Only 13% say they view Trump favourably Read it here 👇 open.substack.com/pub/canadian...

What’s wasteful is ordering feds to explain their jobs instead of letting them DO their jobs.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office. Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc. Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Fair?

Elon Musk fancies himself some kind of maverick technologist superhero. But he’s no Tony Stark. He’s PHONY Stark. He’s the one the Avengers defeat at the end of the movie.

This is how you do it. Other news agencies like Axios and CBS, stop rolling over! Grow a spine, stand up straight and fight!

CDC, Nuclear weapons safety, FAA, IRS, USAid … list goes on and on

You only learned how to ride a bike because someone you trusted let go of you.

ConOld and Kellogg to Zelenskyy: “Sign over your mineral rights, or else!” The Mob Boss is in the White House.

All I keep thinking and hoping in the midst of extraordinary noise, is that Starmer, Macron, von der Leyen, Merz et al are all seeing the world as is and adjusting to that strategic reality. We are moving to a post-post-WWII world where liberal democracies must hold ground outside of Atlanticism.

I’m encouraged by these town halls but I also remember very clearly how this happened in 2017 as well. Instead of responding to the complaints, they stopped doing them. www.washingtonpost.com/news/powerpo...

People keep bemoaning the lack of leaders in the liberal democratic world - and I echo them. But we overlook Zelenskyy, who is as admirable a symbol of courage, resolve, clarity and righteousness as you will find.

This is how it’s done.

Americans deserve a President who doesn’t bow down to Putin - we need leaders who will stand up to Russia and stand with Ukraine.

Hey, Ontario! Get out and vote if you haven’t done so already. Kick Doug Ford and his clapping seals to the curb. Don’t sit this election out.

He nails it.

New polling from Leger suggests only 30% of Canadians view the US as an ally, with a near-similar share viewing our neighbours to the south as an enemy nation I break it down here 👇 open.substack.com/pub/canadian...

It takes a lot to piss off Canada. Leave it to Trump to upend our strongest alliance in history 🇨🇦 Trudeau: “you can’t take our country” after hockey win over U.S. Tense game featured boos, a protest-tinged Canadian anthem, and a thrilling overtime goal. 🏒 (Washington Post )

Freedom in the United States will fall even lower in rank with Donald Trump and his henchmen in charge.

The constant dynamic in Trump 1.0 was people in the admin telling Trump “you shouldn’t do that;” sometimes that was because it would be politically dicey, or illegal or violate vital norms. But sometimes it was just because it was a very very stupid idea that would blow up in everyone’s face.

"Freedom is the continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society." On what would have been John Lewis' 85th birthday, let's honor his legacy by protecting Americans' freedoms, including the right to vote.
