Charles Dickens was born #OnThisDay in 1812. In 2012 we manufactured mounts for the redevelopment of the #CharlesDickens #Museum. Objects were mounted to appear in situ and we enjoyed the challenges of a non-standard display, making mounts as if they were part of the furniture. #Exhibition

Happy Lunar New Year! Today the year of the snake begins and we've been working on a set of brass zodiac heads in our metals workshop. Corrosion appeared on each animal and the patination was not consistent. We cleaned, restored and re-waxed the complete set to make each item match. #LunarNewYear
