During Oz’s failed 2022 bid for the U.S. Senate, “he called to expand Medicare Advantage, [which is] run by private insurers who have been accused of defrauding the government by billions of dollars.”

Dr. Oz’s ethics filings show that he has “as much as $600,000 in stock in UnitedHealth Group, the giant conglomerate that is the nation’s largest provider of [privatized] Medicare plans.”

This Presidents Day, ask yourself: Who’s really in charge?

NEW: Medicare Advantage beneficiaries who are suing UnitedHealth Group over allegedly wrongful denials of care that were based on artificial intelligence scored a victory Thursday, as a judge ruled their case could move forward. Could open up discovery. www.statnews.com/2025/02/13/l...

BREAKING: Representatives of Elon Musk’s “DOGE” have gotten into the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, where they have accessed key payment and contracting systems.

“PNHP found that [corporate health insurance] plans charge the government at rates $140 billion per year higher than traditional Medicare. Congress could use [that money] to add an out-of-pocket spending cap, a public drug benefit, and dental, hearing, and vision benefits to traditional Medicare.”

Today would be a good day to call your senators at (202) 224-3121 and urge them to oppose the nomination of RFK Jr. to lead the Dept. of Health and Human Services.

Today’s confirmation hearing made one thing clear: When President Trump says “jump,” RFK Jr. asks “how high?”
