It’s Day 1 of the 100 Day Project. I wanted to keep it super simple this year and do 9 patches of dark cool colors and light grays. Some fabric will not be quilting cotton. Have not decided how I will arrange them (on point? with some sashing?) yet. #DoThe100DayProject #100DayProject #Quilting

I’ve started doing jigsaw puzzles to limit doomscrolling. I finished this one last night. I got it used from a thrift store, so I was taking my chances on whether there were missing pieces. There were, but there’s only a few. I really like these vintage posters of PNW national parks. #JigsawPuzzle

Just had a thought: the difference between a "food desert" and a "car dependent neighborhood" is the income of the residents. Both are food deserts (there are no supermarkets, etc) one just has enough ppl with cars for it to not matter.

I made the @smittenkitchen.bsky.social apple cider donut cake a couple days ago and this is the first time I’ve added sliced almonds on top of the icing. Will make it this way every time. It’s already gone.
