Kinda heartbroken. Was planning to go to a con in Cleveland in a couple weeks to meet Jenna Coleman and David Tennant. (And see most of the cast from the CW Flash series too) but dropping over 3k because of this crap with the pipes over the past week has killed that plan.

1/3 As if the #Shitberg2025 saga couldn't get any worse...@ChoiceHotels 's Quality Inn in Sellersburg IN has now charged my card 2x for one of the two-night stays I've had to book. This was 100% THEIR error, neither my two single nights or my other 2 night stays over this week...

1/2 Now taking donations for the: 2025 Shitberg Relief Fund. All donations will go towards housing those displaced by the great Shitberg of 2025 that has caused sewer pipes to freeze solid. Translation: looks like I'm here at the hotel thru Sunday morning now.

1/2 Welleps, went home, fed the cats. Checked on the pipes...had improvement, but still not ready for post-taco use, so back at the hotel for another couple days. When I checked back in...told then to just give me the same room, so housekeeping wouldn't have to bother with it

Actually got a solid night of sleep at the hotel and woke up a little bit groggy this morning. (Last night's gummy might have helped a bit LOL) Here is hoping that when I go home in a couple hours that I don't have to come back. (Have a feeling that is a possibility though)

The worst part of all this mess is the fact that here i am worried about a frozen pipe and stinky house, while another friend is having to deal with the loss of her husband. I am not a good person. No wonder folks walk away from me. I dont deserve them.

1/3 Good news/bad news. Good news "only" a shitberg. (Frozen pipe at the outlet to the sewer) Bad news...had to go buy a small heater, open up the crawlspace hatch (that i didn't know where it was TBH) find the nearest outlet and aim the new heater at the pipe.

Fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuck fuck. Sewage backing up into the guest bathroom. Emergency plumber on the way. Yes I tried to fix myself first...this is well beyond simple plunging and/or liquid drain cleaner.
