Re: the SAVE Act. This bill is mostly performative as almost everything in the bill is already law. The name-matching on the birth certificate that COULD disenfranchise people who have changed their names since birth. Senate should amend that part for clarification and be done with this.

So the dickhead in chief just did a 90-day pause on most tariffs (Except China). What a lout. The dumbest part besides starting an unnecessary trade war that diminishes the USA, is that a pause just continues the uncertainty, and with China still tariffed, things will still be more expensive.

Echoing what others have said about news coverage of Saturday’s protests. I was in Santa Ana CA. Easily 5,000 people there and more in cities nearby. Our local media weren’t even there. National media, including NPR, used the words hundreds and thousands when millions is clearly accurate in total.
