My only real hope for the #stlcards as a team is that they’re so far out of it by the deadline that they must sell. They were a bad team that over-performed in close games last season and all they’ve done is subtract since then.

Also I hate to be the one to say this, but Ohtani has had TJ (or similar) surgery twice now. Pitchers who have 2 TJs generally don’t recover from that. I hope to God he does because he is, probably, the best player ever. But it wouldn’t surprise me if his pitching days are over.
