The Moody Blues were watching and waiting for a hit on their newly formed Threshold record label. Unfortunately, it never happened, so we'll salute them with this non-hit single from 1969 on our "No-Hit Radio: special. Catch it today at 1600 UT on #channel292 3955/9670 khz. Radio that's patient.

You've heard of "All Hit Radio" of course. This week Pop Shop Radio goes "No-Hit Radio" with big stars & their big flop records. We've got Culture Club's 2nd 45, which was afraid of the charts & failed to score anywhere. Better days ahead for the boy! Catch it & lots more flops on this week's show

No -- this is not a new sponsor for my show. I just have to show off our Pop Shop Radio mascot, Lola.

This week we're doing "No-Hit Radio! Big Stars - big flop singles!" Conway Twitty had already established himself as a rockabilly star & had received a gold record for his efforts. But he dreamed of greater things. Sadly "What a Dream" was a dud in 1960. Its up this week on Pop Shop Radio

Looking for Pop Shop Radio to-go. The takeaway version of last-week's show is now available for your dining and dancing pleasure at our website! www.popshopradio.ca/20250409.mp3

You'll want to come to the big party on shortwave hosted by Pop Shop Radio. We've got #onehitwonder Claudine Clark with her no 5 self-penned hit "Party Lights" from 1962. All the cool kids will be there. Radio that's fun!

@swradiogram.bsky.social 397 showed up with much better results than Thursday. 100% on the text, and while a bit dusty on the images at first, greatly improved by the end

Jumpin' Jack, what was that flash? Why, it was Pop Shop Radio with the big boss sound of hits, misses and everything in between! You'll want to rearrange your diary this weekend so that you can tune in. Radio that rocks and rolls!

While @swradiogram.bsky.social 397 wasn't a total washout for me, it wasn't all that great either. Only images 2, 4, 5 ,7 and 8 made it under gloomy rainy grey skies here!

Here's what we've heard at the hi-tech Pop Shop Radio world monitoring station. Hi-Lites: Test xmsn from Moldova, weather from Australia, Brazil in English, and some pirate action. www.popshopradio.ca/DX_20250410....

If you listen to Pop Shop Radio, you can tell spotify and those stinky corporate FM stations with their cookie-cutter on-air 'personalities, auto-tuned singers, corporate playlists to hit the road, cause we give you real records, real music and a real DJ. Tell 'em Ray Charles said so!

Today's Pop Shop Radio @swradiogram.bsky.social 2025-15 from #channel292 as monitotered via 2 SDRs in Europe. 9670 khz was doing a nice skip and was only audible outside of Germany

It's Wednesday and Pop Shop Radio will be skating to you with music to get you over the mid week hump. We've got a line-up of great records to play for you including this great B-side from Jim Croce. Tune you set to #Channel292 #shortwave at 1600 UT on 3955 or 9670 khz for radio that's elbows up!

You'll want to do anything you can to catch this week's Pop Shop Radio. Its the place where lost 45s like Beg Borrow or Steal come out to play. Deep Purple bassist Glenn Hughes & guitarist Pat Thrall borrowed the title of a song by Ohio Express in 1982 and took it to 79 in Hot 100. Catch it on Wed.

Ever late I am to the @popshopradio.bsky.social party, but it was worth the wait to hear the Joe Simon and Betty White tunes. The signal was pretty poor to start but by the half-hour mark it picked up considerably, so most of the tunes sounded really good. Until next week!
