Koala oil tanker is sinking at the Ust-Luga sea port, according to Russian Telegram channels. It is carrying 130 000 tons of mazut. The vessel is registered in Antigua and Barbuda. Reportedly, it was ready to leave port, when three explosions sounded in the engine room.

According to Helsingin Sanomat, the Finnish security and intelligence service Supo has informed the government and officials that they have not discovered any evidence that the Eagle S incident had any connection to Russia and they deem it to have been an accident.

Chinese authorities have now boarded to inspect Yi Peng 3 and have invited Swedish police and representatives from Finland, Denmark and Germany as observers, who are "not to do anything active on board". Presumably the conclusion will be that everything is fine, no need for further investigation.
