SuperBazooka Bubble Fudge. Is it a candy? Is it a bubble gum? A cry for help from the Topps product team?

Put my money where my...writing is and picked up a trio of these booklets for The Hobby Library!

Jason Simonds of Heritage Auctions recently shared a consignment featuring 4 standout SGC-graded cards. Including the lone SGC 10 1953 Bowman Color #33 Pee Wee Reese. There's a PSA 10 out there. Is this one nicer? Details here 🔽 www.postwarcards.com/the-lone-sgc...

Another pack-fresh beauty I wish I’d held onto.

Good morning, collectors 👋 Only seen a few other 1957 Topps Basketball boxes—and never from this angle. Yeah, the top’s gone, but this thing is still insanely rare. Photo’s from Mastro’s Oct ‘04 Classic Collector auction catalog. #cardsky

The other day, SportsCollectorsDaily shared a photo of a complete '79 Hostess HoHos box, saying, “Hostess HoHos, anyone? Rare to see a complete box of 79s.” That sent me down a rabbit hole: Are they really that rare? Turns out, yes, they are. More here 🔽 www.postwarcards.com/how-rare-are...

Still on my dealer sell sheet kick—here’s a great one from the 1991 debut of Topps Stadium Club. Topps leaned hard into Kodak’s image technology and a borderless, big-view design, resulting in a sharp-looking set that BaseballCardPedia calls a "landmark product in hobby history." #cardsky

Both sides tell a story #cardsky

Good morning, collectors 👋 Does anyone like ripping football packs? #cardsky

I first learned about the 1990-91 NBA Hoops Team Night sheets thanks to a tweet from JunkWaxHeroes, who shared a slabbed Michael Jordan card. #cardsky I had to learn more, so I wrote a little post about 'em 🔽 www.postwarcards.com/team-night-i...

There’ve been a bunch of awesome ’80s Topps dealer sell sheets on eBay lately. I’ve picked up a few and saved pics of a bunch more. Here’s one I don’t remember seeing before: 1984 Rak-Paks! #cardsky

Good morning, collectors 👋 A 1952 Wheaties Complete Uncut Set featuring all 60 Champion Trading Cards including Ted Williams, Roy Campanella, Stan Musial, Yogi Berra, and George Mikan! What was the sales price in November 1999? $1,265 #cardsky

Happy birthday to Pancho Herrera. His 1958 Topps card walked so the 1990 Frank Thomas NNOF could run.

This one could get wild! Go Dodgers!

Six Venezuelan baseball albums in Heritage’s summer auction highlight an overlooked, story-rich corner of the hobby with global roots and real collector appeal. #cardsky www.postwarcards.com/a-closer-loo...

Neat 1981 Topps dealer sheet for their Superstar Photo Cards and Rak Paks—what’s cool is they used 1980 cards in the ad since the 1981s weren’t available yet. #cardsky

Bread for Energy or Bread for Health? Mastro sold both cards in 2004. #cardsky

Just published a few words about why REA’s buyer's premium isn't really about the buyers...it's aimed at attracting cosignors. #cardsky www.postwarcards.com/why-reas-buy...

This 1979 OPC Baseball Wax Case was sold in 2004. Think it’s still sealed? #cardsky

Just picked up Dynamite Magazine #10 (April 1975) for the Hobby Library featuring a panel of 1975 Topps Baseball cards inside! #cardsky

A while back, I came across an incredible photo in my archives: Larry Fritsch, standing in front of a staggering wall of Topps vending boxes. I shared it the other day, wondering where it came from and hoping someone might recognize it. Found it! -> www.postwarcards.com/unboxing-the...

One of my favorite cards: Pack Fresh. Never touched. Mint. #cardsky

Here’s a photo of Mickey Mantle and Hank Aaron before a 1957 World Series game. Topps used a shot from a slightly different angle for the 1958 “World Series Batting Foes” card. #cardsky

Good morning, collectors 👋 Hands down my favorite Card #1. Sadly, I don’t own this copy anymore. #cardsky

If you missed yesterday evening's new piece :)

Brooklyn, July '81 - Corner slice first, Mantles in the afternoon, and everyone knew a guy who knew a guy with a Wagner.

Here’s a cool one: the original artwork used to produce Bob Guindon’s image on the 1965 Topps #509 Red Sox Rookie Stars card. #cardsky Details, and the only PSA 10 of the card, on the blog: www.postwarcards.com/the-1965-top...
