When I first heard the term, I thought “vibe coding” must mean paying attention to code smell and choosing coding patterns that intuitively vibe right with the task at hand. And I like that definition about 10000x more than the actual definition.

A wild thing I’ve learned about cooking is that sometimes ingredients are just there for the taste and you can swap them out, no big deal. Other times the recipe relies on some specific chemical property of glucose or something and any deviation leads to disaster.
