It occurs to me (and this is admittedly a dark thought) that Musk keeps using his child as a meat shield to protect from being shot, but also how many children in the USA keep dying to "unavoidable" gun violence? Is his hope the child is a deterrent or that it can take a few shots so he can escape?

I'm level 5 in Avowed. I just took on like 8 guys and 2 bears using Caeroc's Pistol/ a spear and Grimoire of the Spellblade/ a sword loadouts and it was SO FUN. I haven't even touched the first step of the main quest haha
