Musk thinks he’s Iron Man, but he’s Thanos! 💀🤣✅💯! - Kara Swisher Let’s keep it going. Musk thinks he’s Skywalker but he’s the Emperor … #muskrats #muskisthanos #stopthemusksteal #donthecon #stopthebillionaires

By the way, this is one of the issues where you might be able to make some headway with GOP reps if you live in a rural district. It has always been the heavily red rural districts that stopped them from destroying USPS in the past. Reps know their constituents depend on USPS.

A federal “stop work” order came as a blow to three local resettlement groups: Hello Neighbor, AJAPO, and Jewish Family and Community Services of Pittsburgh. They provide a range of support that help refugees with the essentials of a new life here, including obtaining IDs and finding housing.

Local elections matter. Trump & Musk slashed funding to the Pittsburgh non-profits that help refugees get settled in successfully — and ACE Sara Innamorato is stepping in to help. content.govdelivery.com/accounts/PAA...

I heard the NEA is only considering proposals related to 1776 & the USA’s 250th birthday & I was feeling intensely patriotic, so I’m printing these really big posters inspired *directly* by the Founding Fathers The cut was carved from the masthead of a 19th century newspaper

House Dems and Senators need to pay attention at the anger of expressed at GOP town halls. They need to pay attention to the Sander's town hall receptions and the defiance of dem governors. *That's what people want.* There is anger. Embrace it. Use it. Hold town halls in GOP districts too.

For all you who continually whine “I’m not racist, I just think we need to have standards,” this is absorb this.No Black man could become head of the Joint Chiefs without meeting the standard. What they want is to harden a system of affirmative action for white guys. They what their grandfathers had.

This x10000000000 “In other words: We, the opposition, are the majority. Take heart.” www.hamiltonnolan.com/p/they-are-a...

always a key moment in the revolutionary sequence / coup

what the moment calls for is fighters instead of gormless boobs who should have retired 30 years ago. policy differences can be hashed out later, everyone can agree that Musk and Trump must be stopped and democracy restored

None of this has anything to do with effectiveness, or “lethality,” or promoting “warfighters," or any other buzzwords. It is praetorianism, plain and simple, and it is an assault on our military and our democracy. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...

The stuff they're doing is deeply unpopular and they're rapidly heading in that direction. Stop treating them like they're untouchable. We can fight back.

Look for the helpers. BE the helpers.

Excellent read from Zephyr Teachout @thenation.com www.thenation.com/article/poli...

KUDLOW: "There could be some short term, one-off price hikes. But at least for now, the economic signals are flashing slower growth and higher inflation. Not good." 😬😬😬

Trump is quickly losing popularity, his programs even moreso but the most unpopular thing in American politics right now is the do-nothing Democratic party leadership. www.thenation.com/article/poli...

I want to share Bernie's Anti-Oligarchy Town Hall from Nebraska tonight, but it's not here I guess because Bluesky doesn't allow live streaming yet?? Man-we've got to get that here STAT! The moment is too crucial to lack it. I hope they share an archive of it?

Jack is a Nazi and a stochastic terrorist who literally wrote a book published last year called unhumans laying out a plan and call to exterminate anyone left of Hitler because they are not humans. NPR stop doing Nazi revisionism challenge failed yet again.

It's both. Some people can be convinced -- or have already started waking up, a bit. But absolutely, a large amount of people can not be convinced & it's not worth the waste of breath trying.

“This was my dream job.” @alextpnews.bsky.social and @katewilkinson.bsky.social talked with workers at USDA's Warwick office who just lost their jobs as part of the federal job reductions nationwide

Mayor Gainey has accomplished a ton in his first term and he’s just getting started! He’ll deliver on even more safe, affordable housing, which is one of the many reasons I’m excited to support him. Let’s get him on the ballot 📋🖊️ sign up to help here: www.mobilize.us/mobilize/eve...

Packed house last night for @gaineyformayor.com! Let's go get it! 💛🖤💛

Medicaid is not for sale. NASA is not for sale. The Post Office is not for sale. America is not for sale. We have an obligation to resist kings. We outnumber them. And they can be overwhelmed.

“We’re fucked.” New @nature.com, @maxkozlov.bsky.social reports on how the Trump admin is exploiting a ‘loophole’ to maintain its freeze on NIH funding despite legal challenges. 🧪 www.nature.com/articles/d41...

Trump: "I did ask Elon because he knows more about computers than anybody I know. I said, what do you think of the voting system? He said, computers are not meant for voting. It's too many transactions taking place too quickly."

"Democracy is a system in which parties lose elections" I'm glad that we are now openly & explicitly discussing the far right authoritarianism of the Wisconsin GOP at the national level. It's long past time to acknowledge the direction of the sunrise.

They are telling us, out loud, exactly how the 2026/28 elections will not be free & fair. They will go after vote by mail (bsky.app/profile/mira...). They will go after computer voting. They will then say we can't count all the paper ballots because it's taking too long & there must be fraud. Etc.

Breaking — The Social Security Administration is dissolving its Office of Analytics Review and Oversight effective 2pm today, an agency source tells me. In a meeting leadership claimed it was part of government-wide mission to “align missions better” & said it was the first of many changes to come.

The Inquirer is a national treasure. Everyone should subscribe.

1. The Philadelphia Inquirer has 2 journalists - our chief political writer and foreign affairs columnist - in Germany for its critical election. A friend yesterday called us "a regional newspaper" but I'd say we're a historic legacy news org (with 23 Pulitzers)... www.inquirer.com/politics/ger...

I would submit that the attitude that led Democrats down the road to disaster was being exceptionally out of step with what voters were telling them, and thinking they could change their stance. Doubling down on Biden by saying voters would reward him for a good economy was a really good example.

When the shit goes down everybody meet up at the library. The MAGAs don't know about that place.

Luigi Mangione Set for First Court Appearance Since His Arraignment in UnitedHealthcare CEO's Death: The man accused of fatally shooting the CEO of UnitedHealthcare in New York City and leading authorities on a five-day manhunt is scheduled to be in court for the first time since his December…

Hey @AmericanAir! The situation on Flight 1609, currently grounded on the tarmac at Dulles, is coming perilously close to wrongful imprisonment and kidnapping. If you don’t let us out, I might have to file a habeas corpus action.

Elon Musk doesn’t want you to see these clips of constituent power in action

There you have it folks: republicans are going to cut Medicaid and give the $$$ to their wealthy donors

I am unironically curious as to how the myth that the Nazis were just completely insane on speed, constantly backbiting, and generally rank incompetents during their consolidation and program-creating phase started.

Once again, the #Flight1609Hostages are told that release is imminent. Once again the plane does not move.

Happening now: protesters are outside the Fine Arts Building on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago this evening. People are in line to see House of Reps Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries for an event tonight promoting his recently released book. Crowd chanting at them, "we don't need a book tour!"

has a single mainstream journalist acknowledged that it was a massive media failure to treat project 2025 as a closed issue just bc trump lied a couple of times about not supporting it
