1/ As the time when I will have to protest in front of the American embassy against the Regime draws closer, I remembered that we have a replica of Civil War era Union flag at home. However, there are maybe even better recognizable and catchy choices that represent democratic, ideals in US culture.

It repeatedly amazes me that somebody actually translated Karpatské hry (Carpathian Games), the most influential and heartfelt Czech hiking book, into English just because it's there. carpathiangames.org

Tonight I dreamed that the British breakfast is a result of prehistoric merging of the Mesolithic and Neolithic populations. The Mesolithics used to eat (hog) bacon and eggs while the Neolithics enjoyed oats with milk.
